To obtain a hard, dense ceramic part, it is necessary to carry out successive high-temperature heat treatments: debinding and sintering.



To shape the part, HARDEX uses either the ceramic pressing technique (uniaxial or Dry Pressing) or the CIM (Ceramic Injection Moulding) technique.

Thanks to its Research and Development (R&D) and industrialisation offices, HARDEX is able to study its customers' needs in detail, and offer them the materials and technologies best suited to the project. Quality and costs are thus optimised.

Mechanical rework / Machining

HARDEX’s high-performance machinery can machine ceramics. HARDEX has machines for all machining operations:

  • Surface grinding
  • Cylindrical grinding
  • CNC (numerical control): from 3 to 5 axes

This makes HARDEX an ideal partner for the manufacture of precise, hard-wearing parts.

When the required tolerances cannot be obtained directly after heat treatment, HARDEX has the in-house equipment to achieve the finest precision.

HARDEX offers a wide range of finishes for a wide variety of applications:
